Long-term Care
Enhancing care and quality of life in long-term care
We support public long-term care facilities all across Vancouver Island.
Thanks to donor support, Eldercare funds specialized equipment, therapy programs, and meaningful enhancements that improve everyday life for residents. From music therapy and exercise programs to gardens, memory care, and celebration events, we aim to create safe, enriching environments for those in care.
How your donation helps:
- $50 funds an hour of music therapy
- $200 robotic companion pet
- $7,500 buys a sit-to-stand trainer to help maintain mobility
- $17,500 funds an interactive projector for memory care and dementia support
We also support seniors in long-term care facing financial barriers through our Resident-in-Need Fund.
