Therapeutic Arts Group for Older Adults and Caregivers

September 16 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Free

Artmaking can be a powerful way to spark joy, build confidence, and strengthen connection. This therapeutic arts group offers older adults and caregivers a supportive, facilitated space to explore artmaking at their own pace. Come as you are, everyone is welcome, with or without prior art experience.

Activities are designed to be accessible and inclusive for a wide range of abilities, including those on a dementia journey and individuals living with limited mobility. The group provides a space for creative exploration, connection, confidence-building, and joy.

Sessions are held in person, with all materials and guidance provided. You’re welcome to stay for as long as you like and leave whenever you need.

Miream (Mimi) Rabba is a Professional Art Therapist and Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC) with extensive experience facilitating therapeutic arts programs for older adults and caregivers across community-based, independent living, and long-term care settings.
