Hereditary Cancers: What Are They and How Are They Found?

Please join us to learn more about hereditary cancer and what it means for families. You’ll learn what it is, options for genetic testing, and how this information can help guide treatment and inform cancer screening and prevention in families. This session will be led by Jennifer Nuk, a certified genetic counsellor and Practice Leader with the BC Cancer Hereditary Cancer Program and clinical assistant professor with University of British Columbia’s Department of Medical Genetics. She brings almost 20 years of clinical practice experience to her leadership roles in hereditary cancer care.
