Supporting Family Caregivers Through Burnout with Compassion and Resilience – Series
Caring for an aging loved one can be one of life’s most meaningful experiences, but it can also lead to emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion. Family caregivers often juggle many responsibilities while neglecting their own well-being, increasing the risk of stress, isolation, and burnout.
This series offers a supportive space to understand caregiver burnout, recognize its warning signs, and explore practical strategies for restoring balance. Each session includes a 90-minute group session, followed by optional pre-booked one-on-one support sessions for participants who wish to explore their caregiving experiences in a confidential setting.
Participants will learn to navigate challenging emotions such as guilt, grief, frustration, and overwhelm while building resilience and self-compassion. Through reflection, discussion, and evidence-informed practices, caregivers will gain tools to care for themselves while continuing to support their loved ones. Whether you are new to caregiving or have years of experience, this series offers encouragement, practical resources, and a reminder that caring for yourself is an essential part of caring for others.
