Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Pain | A 6-session program offered by Self-Management BC

Are you living with ongoing pain that affects your daily life?

Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Pain is an interactive, peer-led program for people living in the community who want practical tools to manage pain and continue doing the things that matter to them. The program covers a range of self-management strategies to help you live well with chronic pain, including:

  • Creating a weekly action plan focused on activities you enjoy or want to work toward
  • Learning how to pace activities and manage energy levels
  • Practicing relaxation techniques such as guided imagery
  • Building problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Communicating more effectively with your health care providers

This free 6-session program is offered in a supportive, welcoming environment where participants connect, share experiences, and learn from one another. It is open to those experiencing chronic pain, as well as  spouses, care partners or friends of someone they know and love living with chronic pain.
