DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the holiday season through creativity\, connection\, and giving. This arts workshop is open to everyone and invites older adults\, caregivers\, family members\, friends\, and community members to create holiday cards for donation to residents in long-term care through the Eldercare Foundation’s Stocking Stuffers for Seniors program. \nParticipants will enjoy accessible\, inclusive card-making activities that encourage self-expression\, creativity\, and joy. No art experience is needed. Activities are adaptable for a wide range of abilities\, including individuals on their dementia journey and those living with limited mobility. The workshop offers an opportunity to connect with others\, experience the joy of artmaking\, and create a gift for another member of our community during the holiday season. All materials and guidance are provided\, and participants are welcome to come and go as needed. \nMiream (Mimi) Rabba is a Professional Art Therapist\, Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC)\, and founder of Art is Within.
