This dynamic session helps you cut through the confusion and make smart\, confident choices about the technology you use every day. Led by Dave Bassett of CompuDave Services\, the session explores how to choose the right device for your needs\, whether that’s a desktop\, laptop\, tablet\, or smartphone\, and how to understand the differences between laser and inkjet printers. \nYou’ll learn the essentials of uploading and downloading\, discover useful apps across platforms\, and build practical skills for managing files\, photos\, and music with ease. \nThe session also introduces cloud services like iCloud and Google Cloud\, shows you how to turn your photos into photobooks\, and demonstrates how voice assistants like Siri and Google Assistant can simplify everyday tasks. \nDave brings 45 years of computer expertise\, including work across federal and provincial government\, and 27 years of teaching experience at 13 locations throughout Victoria.
